Your culinary journey begins at the atmospheric Teatro di Marcello, a historic backdrop featured in Season 4 as Emily explores the Jewish Ghetto. Your guide will introduce the neighborhood’s rich food culture and hand you your Emily in Paris tote bag — plus your first Polaroid of the day.
Walk to Antica Trattoria Angelino, where you’ll enjoy an Aperol spritz and a generous antipasto platter of cheeses and cured meats. This stop ties directly to Emily’s casual spritz moment with Sylvie in S4E10, and it sets the perfect tone for a relaxed Roman lunch.
Continue to Piazza Mattei and the whimsical Turtle Fountain, the same spot where Mindy performs during her stay in Rome. It’s one of the most charming corners of the city — ideal for another photo.

Where is the meeting point?
Teatro di Marcello Meet in front of the gate at Piazza di Marcello, in front of Antico Caffè del Teatro di Marcello (Via del Teatro di Marcello, 42).
The meeting point is at street level, facing the Teatro di Marcello main gate, near the ancient ruins. Your guide will be waiting outside the monument entrance, wearing a red Rome by Emily scarf and a Rome by Emily badge with lanyard for easy identification. Please wait outside the gate, not inside the café, and arrive 10 minutes early.
The location is within walking distance of Piazza Venezia and the Jewish Ghetto.
